Good video camera for an 8 year old.?

My son is eight and has told me he wants a video camera for christmas so he can make lego movies. I think it is a great idea he has a great imagination. Now I just need to find out what kind. I would like to find on under $150 it does not have to be top of the line but I would like to get him something nice to start out with and if he really gets into it we will get him a new one. Do you have have any suggestions?
